Well I bought a new W reg street125 and have used it extensively, and have now racked up 30 thousand km on it, Have only had the usual wear and tear to maintain, tyres, chain and sprockets, brakes. the only one problematic thing about this bike is the diaphragm, as this has been made for Chinese fuel and our fuel eats away at it quickly, mine lasted less than a year, and took the top end power out of the bike, anything over 8000rpm so I couldn’t do over 50 0n it. This had to be sent of in the end to get a company to make and fit one that will last for a good 5 years now. One other thing, is keep it well covered or in a garage as also the metals used in china, because of the environment they are in compared to us, it will rust quicker, so look after your little baby, I touched up all my nuts and springs with a sparing coat of hammerite. All in all though as long as you look after it, its a bike that can last as long as any other bike I’m sure. I did have a problem with a weak weld on the petrol tank, so something maybe to be aware of and make sure it is addressed before the warranty runs out. For the price of these little bikes though, they are very practical and very fun to ride, especially for a rookie, and the maintenance costs are cheap. I have no problem riding hundreds of miles a week, and it is a very comfortable ride. So if your lexmoto loses power but still sounds healthy, that will be in the carb.
